Community Fridge - The Fridge is at the Methodist Chapel in Piercy End. If you have anything to donate, please bring it along on any soon as possible after opening time, especially for perishables. For opening times, visit the Facebook page by clicking the title.
Although the food is free, a donation is expected to help with administrative costs.

Ryedale Community Food Bank - Ryedale Community Food Bank is an independent foodbank, entirely operated by 70 volunteers in Norton, Pickering and Kirkbymoorside.
The client sessions are

Thursday Lunch Club - The Thursday Lunch Club is held in the Methodist Hall next door to the Methodist Church on Pearcy End, every Thursday between the beginning of September and the end of April. It begins at 12.30 pm and provides a hot, two course lunch as well as a warm space and the chance to socialise and help combat loneliness.
The plan originally was to cater for the more senior members of the community but ages range from early 20s to mid 90s. There is no cost but donations are welcome. if anyone is interested please contact Rhys Thomas on 07813 529434 or by email at thomas6ad@btinternet.com.
